Australian scrum-half Harrison Goddard played in Major League Rugby between 2021-2022. He represented the LA Giltinis for his entire MLR career.
The proud indigenous man from Sydney appeared in 31 of LA’s 34 MLR games during the 2021 & 2022 seasons and started both playoff games during the Giltinis’ 2021 Championship season. Goddard racked up 12 tries and 83pts during his 2yrs in LA and, at the conclusion of the 2022 season he was 2nd in club history for tries scored, and 3rd for points scored. In 2021, he finished T-5th for tries scored MLR-wide, with 9.
During 2022, Goddard gained 452m on 61 ball carries, and completed 707 passes for a success rate of 87.39%. On the defensive side, Goddard made 119 tackles for a success rate of 85.61%! He was also called upon to kick from the tee during this season due to numerous LA injuries, and went 8/11 for a success rate of 72.73%.
On July 27, 2022 it was announced that Harrison Goddard had signed with the Waratahs in Super Rugby for 2023. This was prior to the Giltinis folding following their (and the Austin Gilgronis’) disqualification from the 2022 Championship Series for ‘a violation of league rules’.
