American prop Dino Waldren played in Major League Rugby between 2019-2023. He represented the San Diego Legion in his debut season (2019) before moving to the NOLA Gold, with whom he played for 4 seasons. Waldren is a capped USA Eagle, #502.
Prior to entering MLR, California-born Waldren represented the London Scottish in the RFU Championship, the second tier of English rugby. He signed with the San Diego Legion ahead of the 2019 season, earning 6 MLR caps including 1 start in the Legions push for the shield, which ended in defeat to the Seattle Seawolves in the Championship Final.
Waldren earned 46 caps for the NOLA Gold between 2020-2023, and scored all 6 of his MLR tries with New Orleans.
On July 26th 2023, Waldren announced an end to his professional playing career. He retired a USA Eagle with 52 MLR Caps for 2 teams across 5 seasons in the competition.
