Collegiate Draftee Connor Olvera played in Major League Rugby during the 2024 season. He was drafted in the 3rd Round (29th Overall) by the Dallas Jackals and represented them in his debut season.

An Illinois native, Olvera discovered rugby after moving to Highland, Utah and won 2 state championships with United Rugby. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, Public Relations.

In early September of 2023, a newly-drafted Olvera officially signed with the Jackals for the 2024 MLR season.
