California Native and crossover athlete Chris Coyle represented the Houston SaberCats in Major League Rugby from 2018-2019. A former Arizona State tight end, Coyle was recruited by the Houston Texans as an undrafted Free Agent, but was dropped due to an injury. Coyle featured in the first game in MLR history, coming off the bench for the SaberCats against NOLA Gold at Dyer Stadium.
